We had several athletes flirt with undefeated seasons including last year’s player of the year Madison Molock. With competition heating up for the top ones spot in the county there’s plenty of anticipation for the 2024 all county girls tennis team.

On May 21, every Athlete of the Year winner was announced at the MESPY’s. We won’t leave you sitting on the edge of your seat without a teaser. We’re announcing our three finalists with their accolades and feats to hold you over until the big day. Catch all photos from the award show here.

After a long season, it’s time to reward the county’s top performers for their efforts. Below, you’ll find the all-county girls tennis team.

Madison Molock – Junior – Forest | POTY

Mason Molock has completed another underrated campaign. The junior roster as the county single’s and doubles champions never dropping more than two sets during the county tournament.

The three time MCIAC tennis champion . When Molock has a racket in her hands its all business for the top ranked golfer in the county

Rachel Ames – Junior – Forest | Runner Up

Not too often are team talented enough to have multiple aces on the roster yet Ames is good enoguht to give the Wildcats another top player in teh county. While playing the numbber one for the Wildcats she was 5-0 until the postseason.

Ames didn’t see her first loss of the season in singles matches until the postseason. With Ames in the fold for Forest they captured the team MCIAC championship and a county best 12-3 record.
