Meanwhile, celebrities have also expressed their wholehearted support for the team that came very close to clinching the World Cup. On her Instagram stories, actor Athiya Shetty, the wife of wicketkeeper-batsman KL Rahul, shared a picture of the entire team, emphasising, “This team… the best team.”
The image was originally posted by the official account of the Indian cricket team, featuring the message “We are proud of you Team India.”

India lost against Australia by six wickets during the final match held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. Till the final, India maintained an unstoppable streak with zero losses.
