Starting the video, she said: “Come to Dunnes with me! Today, I set myself a budget for around €60.”

Firstly, she picked up some food stables including sourdough bread, bread rolls, ciabatta bread, eggs, burger sauce, balsamic glaze and fibre bar.

She also picked up some fruits and vegetables, such as tomatoes, lettuce, rocket leaves, strawberries, basil, cucumber, mushrooms, mint leaves, apples, potatoes, peppers and diced onions.

Next up, she bagged two fillet steaks, minced beef, chicken fillets and rashers.

Lastly, she also got some Philadelphia spread, Greek yoghurt, strawberry yoghurt drinks, chocolate yoghurts, dog food cans, frozen chips and shower gel.

The total of the shop was €80.67.

Lea had some Dunnes Stores vouchers worth €15, making the shop cost €65.67.

Despite going over the budget by a fiver, she managed to save a lot with the voucher.

Meanwhile, Lidl Ireland is set to sell major dupes of the popular Birkenstock sandals in three colours – and they’re €87 cheaper than the real deal.

And they are the perfect addition to your summer wardrobe.

The budget supermarket’s Ladies’/Men’s Sandals are set to hit the stores from May 16.

And they are similar to the German brand that took the internet by storm.

The sandals feature a smart buckle, anatomically shaped leather footbed and contoured leather insole, making them super comfortable for all-day wear.

They come in three gorgeous colours – brown, black and grey.

Major dupes

The Ladies’/Men’s Sandals are priced at a bargain €7.99.

The sandals make the perfect dupe for the popular Birkenstocks Arizona Birko-Flor, currently priced at €95.

But savvy shoppers can save €87 with the Lidl Ireland version.

Despite identical designs, the dupe version is missing features from the Birkenstock sandals.

It is missing the original footbed that makes it “feel like you’re standing in the sand”, deep heel cup, heel mould and toe grip.
