Irish rugby star Joey Carbery and his wife Robyn Flanagan have welcomed the arrival of their first child.

The new mother has shared the news on social media along with the first picture of their son.

“You’re finally here. Welcome to the world our beautiful baby boy,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

The couple revealed they were expecting their first child on St Stephen’s Day.

“We’re having a baby and we couldn’t be happier,” Robyn wrote on Instagram at the time.

Many social media users have congratulated the couple on the arrival of their baby boy.

One person said: “Oh wow – he’s absolutely gorgeous Robyn! Huge congratulations to you & Joey.”

“Robyn massive congratulations to you both, he is only beautiful, cannot wait to meet the little man. Welcome to motherhood,” another Instagram user added.

The former Leinster player and Robyn tied the knot at Dublin City Hall in May last year and later held a bigger celebration for friends and family in Spain.

The couple had a star-studded and lavish wedding in Marbella over the June Bank Holiday weekend in 2023, where many of Carbery’s Munster and Ireland teammates attended the celebration, including Tadhg Beirne and his wife Harriet.
